Pink Petals

I can't believe it's almost December! The Christmas tree at the Eaton Centre has been lit and the holidays have arrived! Add nothing completes the holidays like limited edition gift sets! This season, Quo has released 27 gifts sets that everybody can enjoy - and here is a look at 4 of the 27. These gift sets are sold exclusively at Shoppers Drug Mart across Canada.
Brow Beauty Eyebrow Kit ($20) - This complete eyebrow kit comes with a highlighter, eyebrow wax and two eyebrow powders for blondes and brunettes. This kit also comes with mini tweezers, a mini spoolie, a mini brow brush and 3 eyebrow stencils. Next to the mirror in this palette is a step by step guide on how to use the kit to achieve the perfect brows. However, I must admit, the stencils are a bit too large for me.
Luxury Lipstick Wardrobe ($30) - This lipstick set comes with four matte lipsticks:
Creme - pink toned nude
Orchid - muted rose pink with slight purple undertones
Fig - pink mauve (great for everyday wear!)
Raspberry Red - berry red
These lipsticks are more demi matte in my opinion but they're pretty hydrating and have that light vanilla scent.
Soft Focus Highlighting Palette ($30) - This set comes with a a palette along with a fluffy brush and an angled face brush. The palette contains a neutral beige powder, a pearlescent highlighting powder a soft shimmery gold powder. I like that these powders aren't too shimmery so they're great for a subtle everyday highlight.
ORLY Best of the Best 6-Piece Mini Nail Lacquer Set ($20) - This set comes with 6 Quo by ORLY minis. Unfortunately the colours aren't listed on the packaging or bottles, but it comes with a white based mauve, highlighter pink, hot pink, cherry red, raisin red and a deep violet.

What's your favourite holiday gift set so far?

This Fall, GOSH Cosmetics launched a bunch of new products for their core line and keeping up to date with the matte and highlighting trends! Because they launched quite a bit of products, I'm going to cover face products in this post - to see GOSH Cosmetics' new eye and lip products, click here!
GOSH released the Contour N' Strobe Kit ($32) in Light // Medium. This is an all-in-one kit for contouring and highlighting that comes with a shimmery highlight, a shimmery blush and two matte contour shades in each palette. The buttery consistency of this palette provides a smooth and blendable application without getting fall out and shimmer everywhere. The kit swatched below is in Medium.
To add some extra highlight, GOSH also released Lumi Drops ($17) in Vanilla // Peach // Bronze. These lightweight liquid highlighters are easy to blend and quick drying. I like to apply this right after foundation so I can set it with powdered highlighter. Pictured below are Vanilla and Peach.
The Overnight Primer Oil Essence ($22) is facial oil packed with antioxidants, fatty acids and nourishing oils to help prep, prime and revitalize the skin overnight - which is going to be great for the dry winter months! The best way to apply this is to pat it into the skin.
Lastly is the Primer Plus Skin Perfector ($25), a primer to help even skin tone while providing a healthy glow. You're probably freaking out right now because it's yellow - trust me, I did too, but it blends seamlessly into the skin! I particularly like this primer because it doesn't leave me with that silicone-y feel.
Another face product that launched alongside these is the:
#FoundationDrops ($26) - in Ivory // Natural // Tawny // Tan

GOSH Cosmetics products are sole exclusively at Shoppers Drug Mart, so head to a local store near you to try out these GOSH goodies!

Do you prefere liquid, cream or powder highlight?

This Fall, GOSH Cosmetics launched a bunch of new products for their core line and keeping up to date with the matte and highlighting trends! Because they launched quite a bit of products, I'm going to cover eye and lip products in this post.
First up is the new 9 Shades To Be Cool in Copehagen ($20) eyeshadow palette. This palette features nine matte shadows inspired by the Nordic Lights. The nine shadows are cool toned and range from soft nudes to black. These shadows are quite pigmented and don't provide that chalky texture mattes sometimes have.
Next are the Forever Matt Eye Shadow Stick ($14) in Nougat // Twisted Brown// Dark Brown // Dark Grey. I am in LOVE with these twist up shadow sticks! They're so pigmented and creamy, providing the easiest application ever and they're also waterproof. I also love that they're matte and have a finish similar to a matte lipstick. My favourite way to apply them is near the lash line and smudging it out to create a soft smokey eye. The below swatches are for Nougat and Dark Grey.
Onto the brows! I love me some brow gel because it's so much easier to use than a pomade or pencil. Thankfully, GOSH released the Brow Sculpting Fibre Gel ($17) in Nutmeg // Chestnut. These brow gels are made with Bladderwrack seaweed which contains high levels of antioxidants, amino acids, vitamins and minerals - so they are quite nourishing for the hairs. The fibres in the gel build volume and thickness while the tint adds colour to fill the brows.
GOSH's Giant Pro Liner ($16) is similar to essence's Easy to Use Jumbo Eyeliner, but I find the GOSH one to actually be easier to use. The brush tip holds it's shape without being too stiff, allowing both a thin and thick line of application. The water-based formula is very pigmented and doesn't apply too wet, so not much time is needed for drying. *This eyeliner is swatched with the lipsticks

The Lash Sculpting Fibre Mascara ($17) is also made with Bladderwrack seaweed to help nourish the lashes, along with the fibres to add some extra oomph to create longer and fuller lashes. The round Tynex brush claims to be optimally shaped to create volume and length. This mascara is not waterproof though, which may or may not be a critical factor on your mascara check list.

Last up are the Velvet Touch Matt Lipstick ($14) in Matt Nougat // Mat Rose // Matt Cinnamon // Matt Cranberry. Made with natural bee, carnauba, and candelilla wax, these lipsticks and creamy, pigmented and super hydrating. Although these lipsticks are labelled matte, in my opinion they have closer to a demi-matte finish. The below lipstick swatches are for Matt Nougat and Matt Cranberry.
Some other products that launched alongside these ones are the:
Rebel Eyes Long Wear Volume Mascara ($17)
Eyebrow Pencil ($16) - Mahogany
Velvet Touch Lip Liner ($10) - Nougat // Raisin

GOSH Cosmetics products are sole exclusively at Shoppers Drug Mart, so head to a local store near you to try out these GOSH goodies!

Back it again with another Mani Monday! This Mani Monday features Essence's Gel Nail Polish in Be Awesome Tonight!, a pretty light pink polish.
This colour was released for this Fall and this Fall only. I've previously expressed my love for Essence's gel polishes, but this one just doesn't cut it for me. I find the application streaky and uneven  - like most white based polishes.

How do you even out streaky nail polish? I just get lazy and leave it as is... hehe.

Elle Canada hosted their Style Wrap Party (tickets were $40+tax each) last month in Toronto at District 28 with a special appearance from Estee Lalonde. I was particularly interested and excited to meet Estee because I’ve been a fan of her YouTube channel for quite some time now.
Upon arrival, guests were greeted to an open bar featuring Girls Night Out wines and Vita Coco waters as well as a photo booth and makeup touch-ups by Smashbox. In the main area, OPI as giving out manicures and Dr. Roebucks was providing hand massages. At the back, there was a Sorel room with some products along with an Elle Canada Fall/Winter wardrobe on display. And of course, trays of hor’doeuvres were served because food Is always a great idea.

Estee quickly took to the stage and briefly talked about her new book, Bloom, and her journey to becoming a YouTube star, followed by some audience questions. I thought it was such a great opportunity to meet her and see her talk in person rather than across a computer screen. She’s just like she is on YouTube – warm, humble and bubbly! She then signed each one of our books and took a picture with us and Aslan which was was fantastic.
As promised, each of us went home with a gift bag valued at $150 which included:
Bloom by Estee Lalonde
OPI Red Nail Polish & Top Coat
Lindt 70% Cacao Dark Chocolate Bar
H&M $10 Gift Card
Smashbox Photofinish Pore Minimizing Primer
Dr. Roebucks Ultimate Hydrating Serum
Lancome Juicy Shaker in Show Me the Honey

Unfortunately, the book signing line took just about a whole 2 hours, leaving little time for me to explore the numerous activities - but I'm still glad that I got the opportunity to meet Estee and attend my first ever book signing.

Who's your favourite YouTuber?

In this month's Topbox, I received:
Marcelle 3-in-1 Lumi Power Anti-Age and Anti-Fatigue cream (7 ml $4.54)
Make Up Forever Ultra HD Invisible Cover Foundation in 117 (5 ml $8.66)
I love MUFE's foundation, but this is far from my skin tone. Maybe I can use this as a highlight.
BVspa by Bon Vital Body Lotion in Pink Grapefruit (30 ml $1.52)
Gorge* I'll make you look amazing daily spray (1 oz $8.11)
I'm excited to try this conditioning spray because my hair is so damaged from constantly dying it.

Total Value: $22.83
This month's box also came with a bonus Unilever box that contained:
Simple Cleansing Facial Wipes (7 pack)
Vaseline Original Lip Therapy
St. Ives Fresh Skin Apricot Scrub
Degree Fresh Energy Dry Spray
Nexus Comb Thru Finishing Mist
TRESemme Tres Two Extra Hold Hair Spray
Nexus Therappe Shampoo and Humectress Conditioner
Vaseline Intensive Care Dry Skin Repair Body Lotion
Dove Deep Moisture Body Wash

I'm really glad that this month's box came with a bonus Unilever box because I was pretty disappointed in the Topbox alone. Out of these two boxes, I'm excited to try the Gorge* leave in hair conditioner and the Degree dry spray. This will be my last Topbox unless I get another surprise gift subscription, but I'm not sad to see it go.

Which beauty box is your favourite? I really like PopSugar but they only ship within the US :(.

With school starting in September, my month has been crammed with studying, working and emptying! Here's what I managed to finish off this past month!

Rating Guide:
☆ - All aboard the nope train!
☆☆ - Meh... It's okay
☆☆☆ - YAAASSSSSS!!
Sample Size
TRESemme Platinum Strength Shampoo & Conditioner ☆☆

Full Size
LUSH Nightwing Shower Jelly ☆☆☆
I love, love, LOVE this shower jelly! It smells exactly like those gummy coke bottles. At first I wasn't quite sure how to use it, but I found cutting it up into small pieces and rubbing that into a loofa/shower gloves worked really well.
Bath and Body Works Capri Seaside Citrus Body Lotion ☆☆
The Body Shop Seaweed Pore Perfector ☆
I had high hopes for this product but found it really didn't do much for the skin. I believe it was quite pricey for the 15 ml bottle and is now discontinued.
Burt's Bees Facial Cleansing Towelettes ☆
I found that these wipes dried out quite easily in the pack and wasn't very effective in removing eye makeup so I probably won't be repurchasing these.
Garnier Fructis Anti-Frizz Smoothing Cream ☆☆
I love Garnier Fructis products so much, and I honestly have no idea why. I use this as a leave in conditioner and it definitely helps make my hair feel hydrated and soft.

Tosses
The Body Shop Exfoliating Bath Gloves
After trying bath gloves, I can never go back - it provides much more control and deep cleaning than a loofa does. This pair is quite old now so it had to go!

Fall is fast approaching and so is the QUO Limited Edition Fall 2016 Collection. This collection contains a brush set, 2 face palettes, 3 eyeshadow palettes, an eyebrow palette and 3 shades of matte lipsticks. The products will be available exclusively at Shoppers Drug Mart and Pharmaprix mid-September 2016.
Brush Up! | Brush Set $50
This gorgeous limited edition set comes with a liner brow brush, lip brush, eyeshadow brush, foundation brush, powder brush, blush brush and a carrying case. These are my first brushes from Quo and damn are they soft!
Sweet Illusion, Perfectly Ordinary | Face Palette $20
These Face Palettes provide all you need to keep your Summer glow throughout Fall with a highlighter, blush and bronzer. This item is not featured because mine unfortunately broke in the mail (RIP).
Clean Sweep | Eyeshadow Palette $18
The Clean Sweep Eyeshadow Palette provides stunning muted blues and greys which I think is perfect for fall.. Not a fan of blues and greys? This palette also comes in Plum Perfect and Neutral Ground.
Raise Your Brow | Brow Palette $12
Fill in your brows with this Raise Your Brow palette. It comes with two shades of brow powders and an eyebrow cream - perfect for Blondes and Brunettes.

Brandy | Matte Lipstick $14
Brandy is a beautiful rose mauve that would be great for everyday wear. Want something bolder? This limited edition lipstick also comes in Red Alert, a bright red, and Mysterious, a bold berry.

What's your favourite Fall colour? Mine is a deep wine.

This is my first time trying the Essence Gel polishes, and I've got to say I'm pretty impressed. Retailing at $2.99, these gel polishes are probably the best deal out there. They dry fairly quickly, apply smoothly, and lasted about a week for me.
I'm wearing the shade Grey Zone, which is a gorgeous light grey. This is not yet in stores but will be released as part of Essence's Fall/Winter 2016 Collection and this shade, as well as a couple of others, will be sold exclusive in Loblaws.

Have you tried Essence Gel Polishes? Which colour is your favourite?

This month was a slow month for empties, but I managed to finish some full sized items!
Rating Guide:
☆ - All aboard the nope train!
☆☆ - Meh... It's okay
☆☆☆ - YAAASSSSSS!!
Sample Size
Elizabeth Arden Skin Illuminating Retexturizing Pad ☆
This is like a toner pad, but I found the formula stung my skin so I'm not a fan.

Full Size
Onyx Professional 100% Pure Acetone ☆☆
LUSH Cup O' Coffee Face and Body Mask ☆☆
I really love the smell and feel of this mask, but it's not one that I would use daily so it took a bit to finish (and I was totally past the best by date... heh).
THEFACESHOP Lovely Me:Ex Angel Skin Powder Pact in RB35 ☆☆☆
I freaking love this face powder! It matches my skin perfectly and it's super affordable! I'm definitely going to repurchase this - hopefully when I finish my powder stash.
Got2B Rockin' It Dry Shampoo ☆☆☆
This is by far my favourite drugstore dry shampoo because it does the job and never gets clogged. The scent is also gender neutral, so my boyfriend and I share it :).

What's your favourite dry shampoo? I'm now trying out Batiste!

This end of Summer break is near, and I thought it would be a great idea to share my favourite Quo products that I’ve been using this Summer!
First up is the Summer 2016 Limited Edition Eyeshadow Palette in Sea Sun Sand ($18).
This palette is a gorgeous neutral and compact palette – great for everyday and on the go wear. Most of the shades are matte, with a slight shimmer to three dark brown colours. The darker eyeshadows are quite pigmented, but I find the lighter matte shades to be a bit chalky – but that tends to be the case with lighter matte shades.
The eyeshadows are super easy to blend though and have a slightly buttery texture, which adheres better to my eyelids – especially in the hot Summer heat.
Next up are eyebrow products: the Brow Wow and the Precision Brow Pencil, both in the colour Brunette. I really like these products for the summer because I tend to wear lighter makeup in the Summer so I define my eyebrows a bit more. The great thing about these brow products is that they are not limited edition – brows all year round!
The Precision Brow Pencil is similar to ABH’s brow Wiz. The pencil is super thin and not too pigmented, allowing light, thin and feathery strokes. To be honest, I prefer eyebrow pencils that aren’t so pigmented because it allows more room for error and it’s buildable. The other end contains a thin spoolie which is great for brushing the eyebrow hairs and blending the pencil.
The Brow Wow is a unique concept – it’s a brow powder that comes in a tube and has a sponge tip applicator. At first I thought it would be similar to eyeliner because of the packaging, but the powder is completely dry and applies like eyeshadow. This needs to be applied with a light hand because it’s SO pigmented! I wouldn’t use this by itself, but use the Precision Brow Pencil to outline and shape my eyebrows and use the Brow Wow to fill in the sparse areas.

What are some of your Summer favourites? (It doesn't have to be make-up!)

Earlier this Spring (I know,,, I’m super late…), Sephora released the Chic It Easy set. This is my first purchase from the Sephora sets and I'm pretty happy with it. Through the enablers and deal finders of the Canadian Beauty Bloggers Network, I was able to get this set for only $33 due to a mispricing on their website.
This set was worth it even without the discount, retailing for $56 and containing two full sized items!
This set includes:
Formula X The Colors Nail Polish in Pyrotechnic (0.13 oz at $4.23)
Laura Mercier Tinted Moisturizer Broad Spectrum SPF 20 in Nude (1 oz at $22.00 USD)
Caudalie Beauty Elixir (1 oz at $22.00)
Atelier Cologne in Orange Sanguine Cologne Absolue (0/14 oz at $16.80)
Klorane Dry Shampoo with Oat Milk (1 oz at $11.00 USD)
NARS Cosmetics Lipstick in Jungle Red ( 0.11 oz at $35.00)
Yves Saint Laurent Touche Eclat in No. 2 Luminous Ivory (0.1 oz at $50.00)
MAKE UP FOR EVER Aqua XL Eye Pencil in M-10 (0.01 oz at $6.25)
This whole kit is worth $167.28 which is a complete steal!

Although the Caudalie Beauty Elixir. Klorane Dry Shampoo and Laura Mercier Tinted Moisturizers are not full size, they are equal to the travel size sold by the impulse section. The two full sized products in this kit are the NARS lipstick and the YSl Touche Eclat, both of which I’m excited to try out.

Have you purchased a Sephora set before? What did you get?

Micellar water is a great way to gently cleanse and refresh the skin – and to combine micellar water with cleansing wipes is kind of genius. I was a bit weary to try the Simple Micellar Make-Up Removing Wipes because for some reason the Simple Eye Make-Up Remover burns my eyes, but these wipes were a-ok!
These wipes do the job and don’t leave that sticky feeling that tends to happen with make-up removing wipes - instead, it leaves my skin feeling nice and refreshed! The wipes are also fairly damp which helps remove the make-up quite well (minus water proof eye make-up). It’s also great for sensitive skin since it is oil free, alcohol free and doesn’t contain harsh chemicals – you can actually check the Simple Skincare website for a full list of ingredients and a description of what each ingredient does (here is the list of ingredients for these wipes).

If you’re in the market for affordable make-up removing wipes, then I definitely recommend checking these out as they retail for about $12.99 for a pack of 25 wipes.

Do you like micellar water or do you preder to use something else, like a toner?

School starts again in two weeks and I’m actually so excited! I’ve been spending my Summer working, so going back to school will be a nice little break for me. One thing I don’t have to worry about in preparation for school is make-up, because Quo has me covered with their Back to School Collection. This limited edition collection contains:
Daily Beauty Palette ($42.00)
This palette is huge, containing 28 eyeshadows, 7 eyeliners and 3 blushes. The shadows are sorted by matching colours in 7 columns to represent each day of the week. I think this is a great palette for those who like to add a bit of colour to their eyes everyday as it contains neutral and bold colours. The pigmentation of the shadows are decent and buildable – but I wouldn’t swap out these eyeliners from your normal routine.
Taking Notes Beauty Palette ($32.00)
This palette has the cutest form, mimicking a zip three-ring notebook with four card slots and two removable palettes. Each palette contains 6 eyeshadows, 1 eyeliner, a blush, a bronzer, and 2 lip colours. This palette would be great for on-the-go make-up applications, but again, I would recommend using your own eyeliner and lipstick.
Hall Monitor Clutch ($22.00)
This clutch has contains four card slots and a coin pocket on the inside and a phone holder on the outside. This comes in handy if you don’t have a phone pocket in your purse or backpack. I’m definitely going to use this to protect my new phone since it will take a while for my eBay case to come.

Get a Grip Magnetic Brush Set ($38.00)
This kit contains 5 brushes: powder, blush, flat eyeshadow, liner brow and crease blender as well as a magnetic stand hat suspends the brushes upside down. Not only is this great for display, but it also helps the brushes dry after being cleaned. The Quo Back to School collection is definitely more suitable for pre-teens and teenagers who wear or are looking to wear make-up on a daily basis. I like that they incorporated Back to School as a theme because I mostly think of stationary and clothes when I hear about Back to School shopping.

Are you excited to go back to school? If you aren't in school, what will you be doing this September?

I am a huge fan of Korean food, but one dish that hasn't quite won my heart yet is bibimbap. Bibimbap is literally translated to "mixed rice", and is usually served in a hot stone bowl with various veggies, a sunny side egg and gochujang (a Korean hot sauce). Enter Bi Bim Bap, a restaurant that adds a twist to this Korean staple. Bi Bim Bap provides various Korean dishes and allows diners to choose what goes on their bibimbap (egg, beef, chicken, spicy chicken, tofu or mushroom) as well as the rice (white or brown).
Every meal comes starts off with a small plate of kimchi, pickled daikon and carrots as well as a bowl of miso soup. To start, I always get the Kim Chi Fries: julienned fries topped with kimchi, Korean BBQ sauce, sesame mayo and green onions.
Next up is my favourite: the Beef Bibimbap, which comes withradish, spinach, bean sprouts, carrots, cucumber, burdock, cabbage, zucchini,  dried seaweed, sesame seeds topped with thin marinated slices of beef. I always add soy garlic sauce and a bit of original gochujang to my bowl for a little sweet heat, before mixing it up. The hot stone bowl keeps everything piping and helps to cook and bring everything together. I like to press the contents onto the sides of the bowl to keep it hot and to crisp up the rice.
The meal then ends with a refreshing cold cinnamon drink which is topped with a single pine nut. This drink is like heaven because it cools down the tongue - whether it be from the heat, the spice, or both!
If you live in Toronto, I definitely recommend checking this place out - it's definitely one of my go-to places for a hearty meal. Bon appetit!

I can't believe it's already August! I don't know about you guys, but my summer just flew by - especially since all I've done so far is work... And catch Pokemon... But that's besides the point! Another month by means another Topbox - woohoo!
In this month's Topbox, I received:
Smashbox Photo Finish Pore Minimizing Foundation Primer (7 ml $11.66)
I actually have a wedding to go to this weekend, so YASSSS to this product!
NYX Butter Gloss in Raspberry Tart (8 ml $7.99)
I'm kind of sad that I didn't get more of a neutral colour as I find purple lip glosses tend to be splotchy so I'll have to use it over a purple lipstick.
Novex Argan Oil Deep Conditioning Mask (100g $6.57)
I haven't heard of this brand or this product before, so I'm interested in trying this out. With that being said, my hair isn't really dry so I'm not sure if I'll see a difference.
Elizabeth Arden Skin Illuminating Retexturizing Pads (3x1.2 ml $4.41)
These will also come in handy for the wedding since I will be staying at a hotel and can bring these along - I just love these samples for travelling!
Bonus Free Brow Waxing & Design from Caryl Baker Visage

Total Value: $30.63

I definitely like this box more than Julys because it comes with products that I would use - it didn't exactly wow me though, but maybe next month!

HOW MANY POKEMON HAVE YOU CAUGHT?!

After a couple months of tracking my empties and tosses, I feel like I should only buy sample sizes of products now. It feels so satisfying knowing that I used something up rather than letting it sit in a corner forever. With that being said, there a some more sample I've used this month, so let's get into it!

Rating Guide:
☆ - All aboard the nope train!
☆☆ - Meh... It's okay
☆☆☆ - YAAASSSSSS!!
Sample Size
Caudalie Crushed Cabernet Scrub ☆
I found the seed powder too coarse for scrubbing, but the scent was nice mix of herbal and floral.
The Body Shop Tea Tree Mask ☆☆
This mask was easy to apply and provided an even application - something I seriously have trouble with in regards to masks.
Rodial 5 Minute Facial ☆☆
The sample wasn't much for me to give a proper review, so it's an okay for now.
Philosophy Purity Cleanser ☆☆
Honestly, I think this cleanser is overhyped - I actually don't think it does a good job for a cleanser as there is still some makeup left over when I tone my face.
Korres Wild Rose 24 Hour Moisturizing and Brightening Cream ☆
I wasn't a fan of this because I found it a bit too thick which resulted in some break outs. I mixed this with another moisturizer to thin it out.
Nexus Shampoo & Conditioner ☆☆
Herbal Essences Shampoo & Conditioner ☆☆

Full Size
The Body Shop Vitamin C SPF 30 Moisturizer ☆☆
This used to be my go-to SPF moisturizer, but now my skin has become too sensitive for thicker moisturizers. I think this would be a great option for normalskin types.
Bed Head Control Freak Shampoo & Conditioner ☆☆
One word: PUMPS!

Tosses
Say Yes To Tomatoes Acne Spot Stick ☆
I've had quite a bit of trouble with this acne spot stick. If not used for a while, some brown stuff builds up on the silver rolling ball applicator which is a huge turn off. When I finally did use it, I found it didn't really help. Then the bottom broke and all the salicylic acid solution leaked so... It just wasn't meant to be!

Do you prefer pumps or squeeze shampoo/conditioner bottles?

Another year, another birthday and another gift from Sephora! This year, members can choose a gift from either Marc Jacobs or Fresh. I decided to go with the Marc Jacobs set because I have already tried the Fresh Soy Cleanser. The Marc Jacobs gift comes with a deluxe sample of the Highliner Gel Crayon in Blaquer and Le Marc Lip Creme Lipstick in Kiss Kiss Bang Bang.
Based on the weight, the Lipstick is worth $9.50 and the Eyeliner $31.00 for a total of $40.50 - which is confusing because the full sized eyeliner and the mini in this gift are both 0.01oz...
The products themselves are ah-mazing! I love, love, LOVE the dusty rose colour of the lipstick and it applies like a dream - so pigmented and creamy. The eyeliner is a pretty good gel liner as well and it's one of the firmer gel liners which is a big help in application - but it can easily smudge. I don't know if I'd purchase the full sized products of these because of the steep price tag, but I'll enjoy the minis.

What birthday gift did you get/will choose from Sephora?
