The duo has a deep shimmery colour on one end and a more opaque bright colour on the other. It's a great lipstick but it isn't my colour, kind of like a shimmery version of Mac's Viva Glam Gaga.

There I was, sitting in my room deciding on what I should do with my nails when I spotted a pack of temporary henna tattoos. This brought me back to when I was little, I used to go the dollar store and buy nail tattoos, the ones with happy panda heads, rainbows, sunflowers etc. so I decided to kind of recreate these easy peasy tattoo nails.

The nail polishes I used were Wet n Wild Megalast in Need a Refresh-Mint and a clear polish also from Wet n Wild. I purchased the temporary henna tattoos at a nearby dollar store, but any kind of arm tattoos will work too :).

1. I measured each of my nail lengths with the tattoo strip, cut them out and laid them in order so I wouldn't confuse the different sized tattoos.

2. I painted my nails two coats of blue and waited for the two coats to completely dry.

3. To prepare for the tattoos, I soaked a cotton ball with water and applied the tattoos one nail at a time. The great thing about temporary tattoos is that if one design gets smooshed or is crooked, you can peel it off a bit to fix it or peel it off completely without ruining the nail polish coats.

4. When you are happy with the tattoos on your nails, apply a clear top coat and you're done! :)

I was excited to receive my Glymm bag today and was wondering if it would be another pink bag, but this month it's a royal blue! I definitely like the idea of receiving bags instead of hefty boxes. Also, this month Glymm went green by listing the products received online as opposed to the usual information cards. My favourite product in this month's bag is definitely the duo lipstick, I think it's such a cute little idea and the packaging is nice too, I just wish I got a soft pink instead of intense red :(. Least favourite would probably be the nail remover pads because I find acetone free nail removers aren't very effective and pads are quite expensive compared to liquid nail polish remover. Also the perfume doesn't smell nice to me because I'm more into fruity scents while the ItIsDream is a musky floral scent.

Recently I purchased these gorgeous pair of nude heels from Beyond the Rack and was skeptical at first because when I googled reviews on this website, there were many people saying that Beyond the Rack was a scam. I decided to purchase the heels because they were pretty cheap ($20 plus taxes & $11.95 shipping) compared to retail stores in Toronto that sell nude heels for $50-$70. I was very concerned about my size because I'm in between a 6.5-7, which is a big problem for me because I can't wear tight shoes such as heels and flats from stores like Spring / Aldo when a 6.5 is too tight and a 7 is too loose. For these heels, I decided to order a 7 because I figured that loose heels were better than tight heels and that maybe one day my foot will magically grow that quarter inch to make it a perfect size 7.

Fast forward 2-3 weeks and I received a giant box from the mail and it was my shoes! I totally forgot about my order and really wasn't expecting it to come based on other reviews, but it did! Shipping was faster than I expected as well. As for the fit of the shoes, they were PERFECT! I've only been able to buy heels that properly fit from Payless so you can just imagine my goofy smile when I put on these shoes, knowing that my weird feet can wear shoes from this site! What surprised me the most was that a week or two after I received my shipment, Beyond the Rack actually called to confirm that I received my shipment and to ask if there were any issues with the product. This was the best online customer service I have ever received and was glad I made the order instead of listening to other online reviews about this site. I will definitely continue to purchase from Beyond the Rack.

Yay! June TopBox! It's so weird because I usually get the Glymm box first witth Luxe Box and Glossy Box coming near the end of the month, but this month TopBox was first! My favourites in this box are the mark lip gloss and the pari eye primer. At first I was kind of skeptical about the mark. lip gloss colour since the label makes it look like a purple plum colour but it actually is a pretty red. The pari eye primer goes on beautifully and I love the applicator brush instead of a squeeze tub like my too faced eye primer.

I really love how Glossy Box gives out full sized or really good sample sized products. I love the makeup remover, facial wash and the shampoo. I will probably use the foot cream in the winter when my skin is more dry. The boxx brush is great for travelling because the head of the brush comes off and you can turn it around and insert it into the handle, like a pen. At the end of every month now, I get so excited for my Glossy Box. I already can't wait for the June box!

I'm really disappointed in this month's box. Again, the only thing I liked was the nail polish. I will probably use the perfume/cologne and the hair conditioner. The razor was nice but I rarely use them because I would rather epilate so it's not much use to me. Neither is the wrinkle creams since my mom doesn't use them and neither do I. These past couple boxes were so BLAH to me so I've decided to cancel my subscription to Luxe Box, June will be my last box!
