EVENT + FRAGRANCE - Chloe Love Story Eau Sensuelle Brunch with Davie Lackie

by - February 16, 2017

Last week, I was a lucky attendee in the Chloe Love Story Eau Sensuelle brunch with Dave Lackie. The brunch was held at the Colette Grand Cafe in downtown Toronto, and the decor of this cafe is absolutely stunning. I felt like I was a Pinterest princess here with the beautiful pillars, fresh flowers and rustic yet modern decor. The meal was a choice between buttermilk pancakes or eggs benedict on a croissant, both accompanied by petit fours and fresh fruit.
Fun fact #1: Chloe's pleated bottles are designed after the Chloe Fashion line which is known for their pleats.

Special guest Dianne Sonnenberg, VP of Marketing and Sales, was there to offer industry advice. It was such a great opportunity to hear about her experience and how she got to where she is now in her career. I think the best advice given was that any experience is still experience and will bring value to any job.
Fun fact #2: The Chloe Love Eau Sensuelle is inspired by the love locks placed on the Ponts des Arts bridge in Paris.

The star of the event, Chloe's Love Story Eau Sensuelle, launched in Janaury of this year and is available at Hudson's Bay and Sephora ($112 for 50ml | $154 for 75ml). Chloe perfumes are typically focused on florals - more so roses. Love Story Eau Sensuelle, however, takes a citrusy spin with orange blossom as the main scent and notes of musky vanilla and heliotrope. I'm in love with this scent! It's sweet and citrusy scent makes it fun while the floral notes keep it feminine.
I'm so happy that I was able to attend such a fabulous event. We were each sent home with a bottle of Love Story Eau Sensuelle, a Chloe notebook, a Chloe bookmark, two macarons and a tin of Sloane blood orange oolong tea.
