Pink Petals

ONLY 2 MORE DAYS UNTIL CHRISTMAS! And if you haven't already filled up your stockings to the brim, here are some last minute beauty related stocking stuffers!

Real Techniques
Mini Brush ($8.99-$9.99) - Mini brushes are perfect for both on-the-go applications and for travelling.
Single Pocket Expert Organizer ($14.99) - With miracle cling to stay place on your mirror, this is the perfect solution for someone with slim to none counter space in their bathroom.
ecoTOOLS
Start the Day Beautiful Brush Kit ($18.99) - Know someone who can never have too many brushes? Or someone who is starting their makeup journey? This would be the perfect gift because it comes with 5 brushes to cover each area of the face, as well as a chic mint green tray for storage.  Brushes included are: Angled Foundation Brush, Blurring Brush, Defined Crease Brush, Angled Liner, Full Blush Brush, Storage Tray.
BeautyLash
Brow and Lash Tint Kit ($19.99) - With brow and lash tinting becoming so popular in the past couple years, bring the salon home with this DIY  tinting kit.

Mesmoreyes
Eyelash Collection 3 Sets ($12.99) - False lashes are easy to use and will come in handy - for either everyday wear or for special occasions *cough, New Years Eve*.
 Fletxitol
Lip Balm ($5.49) - Know someone with super dry and chapped lips? Yupp, me too. This is definitely going to the FH.

7th Heaven
Face Masks ($1.99-$2.49) - Face masks are the perfect stocking stuffer because anyone can use it, literally. The hardest part is choosing one from the wide range of possibilities, but exfoliating and peel-off masks are probably the safest bets.
 Yes To...
Face Masks ($3.99) - I know I've already suggested face masks, but I wasn't joking when I said anyone can use them. If anyone says otherwise, it's because they haven't tried one. I'm kidding... Maybe... These ones from Yes To.. are definitely more skin-type specific though, so if you know your giftee's skin type and would prefer a narrower selection to choose from, Yes To... has got you covered!
That wraps up my last minute beauty related stocking stuffers list. Let me know if you've braved some last minute shopping and what you got in the comments below!

I generally try not to review two brands in one post, but I’m going to put it out there and say that I hate the packaging of the Clean & Clear mask – I just don’t understand why it comes in a jar rather than tube because masks in tubes are so much more convenient to use. But then I remembered that I had EcoTools’ Facial Mask Mates on hand and my problems were solved! They really do go hand in hand, so that’s why I decided to write a double review!
Clean & Clear Acne Triple Clear Cleansing Clay Mask + EcoTools Facial Mask Mates
Clear's Acne Triple Clear Cleansing Clay Mask is both a mask and a cleanser, claiming to absorb pore-clogging oils and to clean deep into pores. This mask contains salicylic acid to help fight acne, along with aloe and peppermint to help soothe the skin.

When I first applied this mask, I noticed that it is more liquid and light compared to other clay masks that I’ve used. This allows for an easy, even, and smooth application, especially when using the EcoTools Mask Applicator Brush. The mask is supposed to sit for 2-3 minutes before rinsing, as directed by the packaging, but I have left it on for about 10-15 minutes and found that it still doesn't completely dry. Upon application, I found that it provides a cooling effect while also giving a slight sting, but it’s not uncomfortable. In terms of effectiveness, I haven't noticed much of a difference in my complexion, but that might be because a lot of my acne is under the surface.

When removing the mask, the EcoTools’ Mask Remover Sponge makes it so darn easy - simply damp the sponge and wipe away the mask. Using the Mask Remover Sponge is my new preferred way of removing masks because it provides minimal back splash – after all, we can’t wash our faces like the commercials do without having to mop up the mess.  This actually helps me out so much because I used to only use masks before a shower to prevent the mess, but now I can mask whenever without worry about it.

Between the two, I believe the EcoTools’ Facial Mask Mates has definitely changed the masking game for me and would definitely recommend it to anyone who dreads post-mask cleanup. Clear's Acne Triple Clear Cleansing Clay Mask on the other hand is going to be a meh from me.
